Amazon has just announced its Prime Air project: a drone delivery to reach the customer in less than 30 minutes.
The announcement was made ??last night on the CBS TV channel by Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon. The goal of this new delivery system is to get packages into customers� hands in 30 minutes or less using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones).
These mini-drones with electric motors, have arange of 10 miles (16 km), around warehouses, which gives access to a large part of the urban population. The company says that everything is ready, but that the agreement and the establishment of rules by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) is still needed.
