YouTube: An April Fool's announces closure

Will YouTube close by showing the top 10 best videos posted during the 8 years of existence of the platform?

When Salar Kamangar, YouTube CEO, announces the closure of the site after 8 years of loyal service, that is realy surprising.
But When we look at the schedule, we realize that this surprise is unfounded, since it is obviously an April Fool's joke! Indeed, the video above shows the closure of YouTube, which is the preferred social network for young people, but also the launch of a competition for the occasion. It is plain to designate the top 10 videos posted, and the jury will release its verdict in 10 years ... So this is basically a good marketing strategy for the video sharing site, which benefits from April 1st to send a notice to users worldwide.
